I always have to download the newest installer from Logitech's site and install it over my current version. Hitting the "search for updates" button does exactly NOTHING. Updating the software became a pain in the ass, too. Maybe it'll forget it the next time it has one of its random Alzheimer events. Recently it added some Logitech device which I don't own and never had plugged into my PC. Sometimes it even forgets my standard profile and resets all of my configurations (G-keys, dpi, etc.). At some point the software randomly started forgetting profiles. A few months later I had the same problem again. Reinstalling the software solved this problem. In the end, I had to plug in an old mouse, go to task manager and kill the process to get my keyboard back working. So you only had a few seconds to do something.
